Cost and Works Accounts Act, 1959

It is extended to the Union Territory Goa,Daman and Diu by The Goa, Daman and Diu (Laws) No. 2 Regulation, 1963 No. 11 of 1963 promulgated by the President of India under Article 240 of the Constituion of India, published in the Government Gazette, Series I No. 22 dated 29-5-1964 and came into force with effect from 1st day of August, 1965 as the date appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Goa, Daman and Diu vide Notification published in the Government Gazette Series-I No 14 dated 1-7-1965
