_{It is extended to the Union Territory Goa, Daman and Diu by the Goa, Daman and Diu (Extension of the Power of Attorney Act) Act, 1980 (State Act 10 of 1980) , published in the Government Gazette Series –I No. 18 dated 31/7/1980 and came in to force with effect from 25th September 1980 as the date notified by the Notification published in the Official Gazette Series- I No. 26 dated 25/9/1980.}

_{The section 4 (e) provided that the High Court may, from time to time make rules for the purpose of this section and prescribing, with the concurrence of the State Government the fees to the taken under clause (a), (b) (c)}
