Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952

It is extended to the Union Territory Goa, Daman and Diu by the Goa, Daman & Diu ( Laws) No. 2 Regulation 1963 (Central Act 11 of 1963) promulgated by the President of India under Article 240 of the Constitution of India, published in the Government Gazette Series I No. 22 dated 29/5/1964 came into force with effect from 1st July,1964 as the date appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Goa, Daman and Diu vide Notification published in the Government Gazette Series I No. 27 dated 2/7/1964. This Act was repealed by Section 164 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (Act No. 36 of 2020), with effect from 3rd May 2023, vide S.O. No. 2060(E) dated 03-05-2023.
