Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35 of 2020)

This Act was enacted by Parliament in 2020 to consolidate and amend the laws relating to trade unions, conditions of employment in industrial establishments or undertakings, and the investigation and settlement of industrial disputes, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The Act came into force with effect from 21st November 2025, vide S.O. No. 5320 (E) dated 21-11-2025, published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary), Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii).
