Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (Act No. 37 of 2020)

This Act was enacted by Parliament in 2020 to consolidate and amend the laws relating to occupational safety, health, and working conditions of persons employed in establishments, and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto. The Act came into force with effect from 21st November 2025, vide S.O. No. 5321 (E) dated 21-11-2025, published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary), Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii).
