NATIONAL DENTAL COMMISSION ACT, 2023

The National Dental Commission Act, 2023 was enacted to regulate the dental profession, ensure quality and affordable dental education, and provide accessible, high-quality oral healthcare. The Act received the President’s assent on 11 August 2023 and came into force on 29 February 2024, repealing the Dentists Act, 1948 and dissolving the Dental Council of India.
