High Court Rules Applicable to the State

Article 225, 227 and 235

The Hon’ble High Court of Bombay at Goa, which exercises jurisdiction over the courts functioning in the State of Goa, has framed various rules from time to time under the powers conferred upon it by Articles 225, 227, and 235 of the Constitution. Some of these rules were originally framed prior to the liberation of Goa, Daman, and Diu from Portuguese rule. Upon the extension of the jurisdiction of the High Court of Bombay to the State, these rules were automatically made applicable to the region. This chapter incorporates all such rules.
