The Provincial Insolvency Act,1920

_{It is extended to the Union Territory Goa, Daman and Diu by the Goa, Daman and Diu (Extension of the Provisional Insolvency Act) Act,1968 (Act No.1 of 1968) , published in the Government Gazette Series –I No. 47 dated 23/2/1968 and came in to force with effect from 1st June 1978 as provided in sub-section (2) of section- 1 of the Act.}

Section 79 of the Act provide that the High Court,with the previous section of the State Government, make rule for carrying into effect to provision at this Act, however the presently Rules are not yet made.
