Portaria No. 4883 dated 8-12-1945

The Government Printing Press, formerly “Imprensa Nacional”, is the oldest Institution of the Government dating back to 19th Century. In 1945 then Portuguese Government issued a regulation for operating and the management of the press and other related matters known as “Portaria No. 4883 dated 8-12-1945” under title “Regulamento Da Imprensa Nacional Do Estado Da India” literal translation of this title in English is “Regulation of the National Press of the State of India” as the English translation of this regulation is not available hence same is published here in Portuguese language only. Post liberation no amendments were found in the said regulation. Only some Notifications/ Orders are issued which is part of this file.
